2014 MERRIE MONARCH Music Festival April 20
The Merrie Monarch Ho'olaule'a (music festival) was held in Hilo's Civic Auditorium on Easter day. Below are some highlights of the event. Unfortunately, the movies are not very good - a combination of light issues that confused the camera and poor zooming skills. Sorry and Gomen nasai.
The event began with the entrance of Hawaii Community College and Hawaii Island charter school performers. Presentations were made by Ha'akumalae Protocols Program, Hawaii Community College, and Hawaii Island Public Charter Schools under the direction of Kumus Kekuhi Kealii'kanaka'oleohaililani, Dr. Taupouri Tangaro, and Manaiakalani Kalua.
